💡 Note that for some screen readers, you may need to turn off the virtual cursor or adjust other settings to use keyboard shortcuts within a web page. NVDA and JAWS often require entering "focus mode" with Insert + Space
before you can use keyboard shortcuts.
Keyboard shortcuts for highlighting
While in Reading mode on a writing assignment, students will have the following keyboard shortcuts available to navigate the site!

If there’s a submenu (colors and stickers), you’ll be taken to the submenu:
If you select the Note option, it takes you to the corresponding note or to create a note. |
